Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne is warning of possible disruptions to its services this weekend (December 28-30) due to a forecast of high winds.
CalMac is advising ferry travellers to check the website here for the latest information before they set out.
The passenger service between Gourock and Dunoon, operated by CalMac’s sister company, Argyll Ferries, may also be affected. The latest information on that service is available on its website here.
A CalMac spokesman says: ‘Ferry travellers are advised to keep up to date with latest forecasts and to be flexible in their travel arrangements, if their plans allow.
‘We are grateful for the patience and understanding of all our customers at this time and wish them a Happy New Year.’
